Jim Dunn serves as Regional Director in Business Development for the upper Midwest. He has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, business services and technology, including senior level roles in business development, sales, account management, customer retention, branding and marketing.
Jim has a history of success in outreach specialty services that have helped rural and underserved hospitals in the upper Midwest gain access to specialty programs. In nearly nine years with Whitney Sleep Diagnostics and Consultants, he helped grow the start-up venture to 60 hospital partners in six states. The company’s sleep study model utilizes telemedicine follow up with a sleep specialist following each sleep study which improves patient care, satisfaction and therapy compliance while reducing the facilities’ transfers, improving revenue and overall patient retention.
With Sightpath Medical, Jim helped bring world-class ophthalmic surgery to areas that typically lack the population to support an in-house cataract / laser refraction program. Working with Ophthalmic Surgeons along with hospitals, surgery centers, and private practice, the Sightpath model allows for superior patient outcomes close to home. Jim feels strongly that where you live should not determine the level of care you can receive locally.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with emphasis in Marketing and Management, from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
