Jason R. Povio serves as CEO of Eagle Telemedicine, guiding the organization’s strategic growth and shaping its culture to empower people and teams to deliver exceptional care. He is passionate about building an environment where innovation thrives, collaboration is valued, and every team member is aligned with a shared mission of expanding access to quality healthcare.

With a background in systems engineering and healthcare operations, Jason blends analytical precision with a deep understanding of human-centered leadership. His approach has been instrumental in driving Eagle’s expansion into more than 20 medical specialties, advancing both the scale and impact of telemedicine nationwide.

Jason earned his BS in Industrial Engineering and MS in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida, along with graduate certificates in Quality and Change Management. He also holds a Lean Healthcare Certification and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Michigan.

Shaped by a childhood in a military family, where adaptability was a way of life, and deeply influenced by his wife’s cancer journey, Jason leads with empathy, resilience, and an unwavering focus on people. His leadership philosophy centers on Communication, Commitment, and Empowerment, fostering a culture where individuals are inspired to grow, contribute, and lead.

When I worked for a healthcare system based in the Southeast, clinical data convinced me that telemedicine was the right choice for our hospitals. Since earning my Masters of Science in Engineering Management, industrial and management systems engineering, data has always been my weapon of choice.
